The historical dials of Garmin 955 cannot be deleted.

For Garmin 955 with system version 23.20, after I restored the watch to factory settings (clearing all music and training data), the third-party dial files downloaded from the internet and copied to the APP directory, as well as the previously customized dials, still exist and I can't delete them. When connected to a computer, there are no such files in the APP directory. When entering via the mobile Connect IQ app, several dials can be seen on the home page, but they fail to display when clicked, so they can't be deleted either. Could you please advise on how to delete these unused dials? Thank you very much.

    I would love to find out how to extract stock watch face and remove dials, but keep everything else.

    Unfortunately I do not know of any way to extract a stock watch face. They are, from what we have seen over the years, an integral part of the main Firmware and can only be emulated/copied through a Connect IQ watch face app.

    Hmm, that makes sense as sideloads and the watch face you mention have one thing in common: neither of them are in the store [*].

    (* well, technically you can sideload an app that's already installed from the store, and the sideload will override the store-installed app, but in this special edge case, the sideloaded app still has limitations that the store-installed app does not.)

    So to be super pedantically precise, the issue is that the Connect IQ mobile app can only manage apps which were both:

    - installed from the store

    - currently exist on the store

    Apps which are either sideloaded or have been removed from the store do not meet both criteria.
