Can't reply to a text message containing an image

I'm not able to reply on the watch to a message from Signal that contains a message. The "Reply" menu option does not appear in the list. I'm able to reproduce the problem consistently.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Replying to a Text Message

From the above page in the manual, can you confirm that after number 3 of pressing START you do not see a "Reply" message at all? You mentioned in the subject line that you can't when it contains a image, is it only with images OR all messages?

I don't think you ever get the option to reply with Signal, Telegram or Whatsapp, only from messages received in the official Android SMS app.

Yes I have an Android phone.

Yes as stated above the "Reply" menu option does not appear in the list when the message contains an image.

I am able to reply to messages that do not contain an image. The "Reply" menu option appears when there is no image.

Yes and no. Garmin generates the list of options based on what the host app provides. Therefore it is only possible to reply to a message that has the "Reply" option in the messaging app. In Signal there is no "Reply" option if the message is an image alone.
