No vibration, step count and HR monitor after 23.20 sw updated

After updating to 23.20 now my 955 can only receive notification. No vibration, no step count, no HR monitor.

I have tried "hard reset" but didn't help. Can I downgrade the sw or any advice for me, pls

Thanks Bro,

I put my watch in the fridge then reinstalled the sw 23.20. Before that, it used to be failed, but now it could complete the installation. My watch is alive now. I really appreciate your help…

Yeah, your watch is cooked. Same thing happened to me.
You can kinda fix it by cooling it down and reinstalling the software through a hidden menu.

I don't think you can fix it on your own. Contact Garmin directly, not through this forum.

I sent my watch to repair center and they said my watch couldn't be fixed. If I want my watch to be fixed (without any explaination) , they will charge me 4.3M VND, which is almost $200 USD and they said the warranty time is 3 months only.

Just because of updating the watch software and I lost my watch.

I have the same issue and it appeared right after update! Couldn't be hardware problem. Software glitch

Yes. Happened to me 3 weeks ago. I was unable to do anything, Garmin Service Center neither.

I put my watch the the fridge for about 30mins then tried reinstall software. And it was successful. Now all functions are working normally.

U can give it a try and hope it works for u as well.

The fridge trick suggests there are problems with the FLASH memory inside the watch. (It's an old trick which I've used in the past to recover photos off failing camera memory cards.)

I dunno. And honestly I don't care that much. Garmin Service sent back my watch and didn't give any explanation. Without SergeyVDNKH post on Reddit, I couldn't save my watch.

And even if I decided to repair my watch with the price of 4.3M VND, then they would agree to buy back my watch (if all functions are normally working) with the price of 3.5M. How crazy it is!!!
