Sensors on Forerunner 955 not operational after update yesterday

Hi there,

After the latest update the watch (Forerunner 955) does not show HR and steps anymore. Also, wrist HR light sensor is not functional. The challenge is that I have Durban 70.3 Ironman on Sunday and kind of need my watch to work properly. Does anyone else have this issue on this model. I have emailed garmin SA and called. The lady helping me was really nice and we did a hard reset but did not work. The only other option I still need to try is update via the PC with the recharge cable. Let me know if anyone is also experiencing this and has found a solution. Thank you so much

Jaco

  • Aha dekuji moc ,ale to je přeinstalace současného sofware to není návrat k předchozimu staršímu sofware ? chápu to tak spávně ?

  • Hi All

I've tried all of the mentioned ways of fixing this issues with the 23.20 update and none have worked.

Does anyone have any other ideas on how to get my forerunner working?

  • Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a proper fix. Sometimes switching off/on helps, or pressing the light button 8 times and reinstalling does, but only for a few hours.

    I'm having issues with
HR isn't tracking for periods of time
    slow performance during activities
    sleep not being detected
    elevation not working during activities
    steps not detecting
