I'm training very irregularly and i have a bad memory, so apologies in advance if this is a stupid question.I usually want to run 5:1 intervals (5 minutes running, 1 minute walking) but i always have trouble figuring out how to set it up.
I have a specific track that i ran a couple of days ago and it automatically started interval training, when i started it. How did i do that? Where do i find those settings?
This saturday i was out running another, brand new track i just created. That did not have interval training, so i went back home and wanted to change it, but couldn't find the settings for it.
I had to create a training session with 5 minutes running and 1 minute walking and then repeat it 20 times, then start the training on my watch and then choose the track. That just sounds like... extra steps.
Additionally, when the 20 repeated intervals we're finished (i ran 21,99 km for the first time in my life, yay!) i feared the intervals would stop towards the end of my run, but fortunately it continued??? What's that all about? The only thing that changed was the vibration; When the training session was ongoing, i got 5 vibrations to indicate that i had to change between running and walking, but when the training session was finished (and i was still out on my run) it just changed to one vibration.
I am very confused and i hope someone with more experience with the FR955 can point me towards how to properly setup interval training on a specific track and maybe tell me what has been going on with my watch.
