Since Garmin came out with an upgrade to the 965, named the 970, I'm thinking about an upgrade to the 955, which would be the 960, for those of us who don't want an AMOLED display. The upgrade would include a 1.4 display, a thinner profile and a flashlight. I would be very interested in such a model.

Probably won't come.
Not for the classic fitness/running/multisport watches from Garmin. They have made the step to "OLED first", with MIP only in combination with solar for ultra endurance things.…

Not for the classic fitness/running/multisport watches from Garmin. They have made the step to "OLED first", with MIP only in combination with solar for ultra endurance things.

We see the Enduro 3, Fenix Solar and Instinct Solar - all for ultra endurance "Outdoor/ Ultra trail" purpose (at least marketing is telling us so).
