955 Solar rebooting after installing 23.20

Yesterday I've received the latest fw23.20 and now when I try to check the morning report or even see the glances the watch reboots.

I had no issues with the beta 23.18...

Is there anyone else facing similar issue?

Update: went for a track run and the watch restarts everytime I tried to start my session. Not really what is expected from a "premium" brand such as Garmin...

I am assuming that no one else is having similar issues so, any suggestion on how to reinstall the latest firmware? Watch is working well until I try to go through glances or start an activity...

Worthy mentioning that the interval session was already in the watch and everytime I've selected it the watch resets.

I've also connected the watch to Garmin Express to see if there was an option to reinstall the update but had no joy doing this.

I will be using my Mk3i until this gets sorted... Hopefully won't take long.

Reinstall procedure:

Enter the System menu, select About, then press the LIGHT button eight times.

A hidden Support menu will appear.

Reinstall Software is one of the options.

I've managed to reinstall the firmware but the issue persists. Watch looks fine but when I go through the glances I reboots. If I get to glances using the up button it reboots straight away.

Tried to start a Run and rebooted again. Same happened when trying to start a planned strength workout.

The watch is pretty much new as it was swapped by Garmin in March(Garmin-Sierra may remember).

Garmin-Maeve no one else is having similar issues?

I've got the same issue on my FR955 Solar after updating to 23.20.

Did you manage to resolve the issue? Just tried reinstalling the update hopefully this helps.

Unfortunately not only during activities. Also shuts down randomly, starts to boot but is stuck at the blue triangle. This sucks..

No, I am about to start the process of replacing it... my 1st 955 Solar, bought shortly after it was released, was replaced about 2 months ago due to issues w/ the altimeter, now this unit is having issues since fw23.20 came out. Really disappointing.

I have the same problem. I tried reinstalling, but after that the watch just freezes and doesn't respond to anything.

Their supposed to be releasing a patch soon for this firmware update. Not sure when it'll be released. Lol maybe they want some of you to upgrade to the FR970 for an official "fix."
