Unwanted voice prompts when navigating

Why, why, why, even though I thought I disabled them, is my phone talking in my pocket when I use Navigation?

Is it the Explore app?

Is it Garmin Connect on my phone?

Is it the watch settings? (They're off--why can't it be a nice chirp like my other devices?)

Extremely frustrating.

Seems like the only solution is to make sure my phone is 100% muted.

I did a test with a new course I created and made sure to turn off "Turn Notifications" in the course details in Connect, THEN synced it. You can't toggle "Turn Notifications" once it shows up in the mobile app. Maybe a solution?
