Unsusal incident - at minus one step after sleeping

I have a somewhat unusual metric number this morning: I am at minus one step after sleeping. Do any of you have any ideas on how that is possible?

That bug was implemented some time ago noticed it too. Usually the -1 is just shown shortly after opening the app in my case.

The morning after a recent Android security update the app said I'd done 12000 steps in my sleep that my watch hadn't detected.
