Crash when entering map pan/zoom mode

With 22.22, not only is autozoom defaulting to max zoom all the time (https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-955-series/405003/navigation-map-autozoom), but it also crashes most, if not every time, I attempt to enter pan/zoom mode. This is while a navigation route is in progress.

Do these crashes get reported automatically when syncing? If not, is there some way to ensure crash information gets back to Garmin so they can fix this?

Is downgrading a thing? It's bad enough that autozoom is broken, but to also have pan/zoom mode crash when you try to work around the issue, that's just adding insult to injury.

In case it makes any difference, I did find this err_log file on the device, this would be the crash this morning (the previous ones were overwritten or cleaned up based on time)

Same thing happened to me, if only the auto zoom was disabled.
