Forerunner 955 Constant Updates

It is insane how often my Garmin 955 has an update. For the life of me I cannot fathom who thinks this is a good idea. Garmin is such a great product and they are too good to have a watch that is constantly updating multiple times a week. It's not right and it is not smart business.

I updated through Garmin Express (now on 22.22) and no additional updates. Intially there were several - especially the maps which can take over 40 minutes. If trying to update this from the watch directly there would be numerous updates. Updating from the Garmin Express software (computer) is a much faster method.

There are sometimes updates around daylight savings time switchover as various countries make changes to their schedule, sometimes at very short notice.
