22.22 No more goal completion notifications

After updating to 22.22 I've noticed that the goal notifications (steps, floors and exercise minutes) are gone. I've tried adjusting the setting (they were configured to notify when not in activity, so I changed that to always notify to see if there will be any difference) but got nowhere - the watch simply keeps counting the metrics without any indication that the goal has been reached.

  • They're working OK for me.

I have notifications during activities enabled.

  • , can you check the following settings on the watch?

    1. Long-hold the middle left button and select Notifications & Alerts > System Alerts > Health & Wellness > Goal Alerts. Is it "On" (or Not During Activity)?
    2. Long-hold the middle left button and select Health & Wellness > Goal Alerts. Make sure it's "On".
    3. Long-hold the middle left button and select System > Sound & Vibe > Make sure the desired alert tones/vibrations are enabled.

Please also try the following: In the Connect app, go to More > Garmin Devices > select your device > Health & Wellness > change your step goal (to any random number). Sync your watch. Then, go back in and set your Goal to the desired amount of steps. Sync again and test.

  • My goal alerts were set to Not During Activity. I changed them to On just in case. Alerts are enabled as well.

I've tried the suggested steps with changing the goal and then reverting it back, but it didn't help.
