955 only charges on a pc connection

This began after the triangle of death. Forerunner 955 no longer charges on an AC powered usb power plug. It starts charging and stops after 30 seconds or so. It will fully charge when plugged into a pc. The pc connection shows a watch full-screen radial percent charged as it progresses. All other functions are normal. On current beta software. 22.21 but  I'm not sure this is a beta issue. I'm going to remove the post from the beta section.

  • You might have testet it, but since you do not write it - does it really stop charging or does it not just display properly?

If I'm charging on an AC Adapter the only indication on my watchface is a small cropped flash on the really tiny battery symbol. (which might differ on another watchface..)

  • Thanks for your comment. You are correct. It is in fact charging on an AC adapter, the indication on the display while charging has changed since the triangle event and reset to recover. Now if they could get HR to follow when increasing exertion I'd be a happy camper. Lots of threads on that.

  • As referred to in the Beta forum, this appears to be a bug in the beta software: it doesn't always show a notification that it's charging. I've raised a bug report for it.
