Interval Counter Data Field in Forerunner 955

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Garmin Forerunner 955 and was wondering if there’s a built-in data field that shows the interval counter in the format 1/10, 2/10, etc., indicating the current interval out of the total number of intervals.

I’ve looked through the available data fields but couldn’t find exactly what I’m looking for. Is this feature available natively, or would I need to use a Connect IQ data field for this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi,

if you are using a planned training or a daily suggested workout that contains intervals, exactly the interval count you mentioned (1/n, 2/n, ...) is shown at the bottom of the data screen which shows the target values for the workout (e.g. pace or heart rate...).

  • Exactly

And that screen is automatically visible on the watch.

I do not know if there is a way to force this screen to be visible apart starting scheduled workouts.

  • I would like to customize the data fields for interval training myself, but I see that this is not possible. It's a pity.
