When I press the 3 buttons in the first step, I get the first beep. But step 2 doesn't work for me.. no second beep. And the watch then resumes bootlooping.

We are aware of the disruption of devices displaying a blue triangle when starting a GPS activity. Holding the power button until the unit powers off may or may not restore functionality temporarily. I am very sorry for any frustration and appreciate your patience as we work on a resolution.
