''Rejection messages'' doesn't work

Since a while back, the preset rejection messages/replies doesn't work for me. When answering with a preset reply on my Garmin, the messeage never reaches the app in my phone that I want to reply to (for example Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS text app etc.).

It's the same problem with all apps, that's why I think this issue is related to Garmin and not my phone. It has also worked for many years with no problems, until maybe a month ago or so.

Ayyone else had the same issue?

    I just tested it and works at least for WhatsApp. Tested wie a Google Pixel 8 with latest updates on Android OS and Garmin Connect.

    Have you checked the rights for Garmin Connect?

    I also have Android and I have check all rights from Connect and everything looks good. I also tried to reinstall Connect, but the problem resists.

    I have had the same problem for a couple of weeks/firmware updates now with Facebook Messenger notifications.

    The "Like" option on my watch used to send the default emoji for that conversation, now it does nothing.

    Sending a preconfigured reply used to work; today it showed "Sent" on my watch but nothing had actually happened.

    However, a preconfigured reply to an SMS text message recently did work.

    I have software version 21.22 currently, and a Samsung Galaxy S10e phone. 

    I'm planning to downgrade my watch software anyway if I can because the running map now shows roads and paths in blue -- same as waterways!
