Legit update?

I just got a new firmware update for my Forerunner 955, and after installing it I found out Garmin services are down. Should I be worried? Any chance this update was pushed by an unauthorized party?

Just relax. All Garmin services are down at the moment. hopefully soon it will be up and running. I don't see how an unauthorized party can push an update (and not sure what reason may be behind an attack…

you'd be surprised. At least Garmin doesn't want you to believe that the long string of shortages people experienced for the past year are caused by their sheer stupidity.
