Control Technogym MyRun with 955

Is there any way to control the Technogym MyRun Treadmill with the 955, similar to how you can control a smart bike trainer (ie. set power, follow a workout, etc.)?

  • Sorry to hi-jack your question, but how do you set power, follow a workout using your watch only and in what app/smart trainer app?

    I am not quite sure what it is you are trying to do using your 955 only. You want to increase/decrease incline and speed? If yes, why would you do that as you have nice big buttons on the MyRun.

  • If you create a workout with power targets, the trainer works in ERG mode, adjusting the resistance to match the power required for each interval.

    If it works with the treadmill, you could set speed targets on a custom workout, and the treadmill will adjust the speed accordingly.

    @MuphyCorp,

    If what you want to do is possible, the treadmill user manual should describe it.

    I had never used a treadmill with this capability, and when I looked to buy one with this function, it was too expensive.

  • I thought so. Thats how I do it from time to time myself (Using TrainerRoad/Zwift/Kinomap).

    I have tried a number of times to "control" the MyRun - but Technogym does not allow you to control it with an app. You have to control Incline and speed manually.

    Roberto (from QZfitness) has made an IOS-app that makes it possible to control many Bluetooth treadmills - either from the app directly, or using a trick to control speed/incline in zwift. (He makes a bike-signal into a running-signal and vice versa).

    That makes it possible to convert inclines i Zwift to be transferred to MyRun. Also if you create an interval training.with speed/incline in it (ERG) then it works on MyRun inside Zwift.

    I can say that Technogym is not happy with that at all.....
