Auto update to 21.20, but no software update announcement here?

My FR955 Solar just auto update to 21.20.

But no software update announcement found here.

    21.20 is a beta and was announced in the beta announcement forum. So I guess you have enrolled yourself in the beta program. (Or then 21.20 was just released as an official update also and they haven't had time to make the announcement yet.)

    The new RC has only these changes:

    • Fixed an issue where Connect IQ watch face may crash.
    • Fixed an issue where the touchscreen setting may not be respected.
    • Fixed an issue where distance may not update in a golf activity.

    I am wondering why isn't there any fix to the bugs reported here, but 3 fixes what were never mentioned, and of course golf as always the highlight of every maraton runners. What a thundering priorisation!

    I never joined beta program neither saw the "Join Beta Program" in my Connect account before.

    So I am wondering why my FR955 has beta program update?

    Well, the 21.20 was a release candidate when it was announced in the beta forum, so probably they have just released it officially already. It's still night in the US, so no wonder an announcement hasn't yet been written on the normal forums.

    Hi,

    Same thing for me, my 955 updated to 21.20 after powering it on for the first time yesterday, while I'm not part of the beta program.

    I think I even found a bug already : smart notification privacy for messages (hiding the message content unless we push the start button or move the hand) can't be set differently for activities and general usage. If I set one, the other is also changed.. 

    Could you check if you have the same issue (I think it is an issue, otherwise why having both options) ?
