Zip file firmware 17.xx or 18.xx

does anyone has older firmware for 955 Solar? i'm getting frustrated fixing this OHR and ABC Sensor on 20.32 and 21.19 firmware, still not getting fixed.

I was wondering if i could fix this by downgrading the firmware.

yes i've tried everything such as reset total from settings, the reinstall software by clicking light button 8 times, plugging my watch to garmin express and connect, nothing happened.

please if anyone has the 17.xx or 18.xx firmware, let me know

You can download past firmwares here, unzip to the Garmin folder on your watch. I'd recommend 15.19 for the best working OHR

Just unzip into the Garmin folder on your watch. Then unplug the cable and install on the watch. Backdating software will revert your watch to default settings.

No, in fact the OHR issue was introduced in 18.27.

You can use 16.17, which doesn't have the current OHR issue.

Checking my activities, it was already present in 17.26 for sure. Will check 16.17...

Hi,

I am also interested in a downgrade. Is the firmware for the 955 or 955 Solar? I have the solar version. Does the file also work?

To he honest it would be good to have official sources for those firmwares.Garmin should provide access to these files and way of downgrade FW, especially since there are so many changes that are bad for customers in every new version. The user should have the choice of whether they want a usable map screen and better battery life or meditation activity and worse maps and power consumption.
