I have a Garmin Forerunner 955 watch and an external heart rate monitor, the Polar H9. I want to see the name of the heart rate monitor (for example, Polar H9) in the workout report when I use this sensor during training. Is this possible?

Not exactly what you're looking for, but you can use a free 3rd party site - https://www.runalyze.com - which syncs with your Connect account and shows you lots of extra data about your Garmin activities…
I speak under correction , but I think it only does so with recent Garmin HRM's.
I use an HRM-PRO plus and before that HRM-Run and it reflects as such.
I found this link which may be helpful

Thank you. Yes, I know that Garmin heart rate monitors appear in the report. I had a Garmin HRM Dual that broke after a month of use. I found out that the HRM Dual often breaks, so I didn't want to buy it again and purchased the Polar H9, but I was surprised to find that it doesn't appear in the report. It's frustrating. Are there any apps from Connect IQ that include the name of the heart rate monitor in the report?

One of the features is the ability to show connected devices (internal and external sensors). It's a little rough and overly technical, but it should at least show you that a Polar HR strap was connected (even if it won't show the model name in a human-readable format.)
This is what I see for a Polar H10 strap:
Thank you, yes, RUNANALYZE is a great site. You can see which sensors were active during the workout there. But I would like to see this information in the workout report on Garmin Connect.
