Since the Update 20.32 my battery is draining very fast, from 100% to 9% in just two days were my battery usually held about 2 Weeks. Is anybody else having these issues? Is there a fix planned?

It was fixed, but now it's re-introduced I have a feeling.
I charged my watch on Friday evening to 100%. When I checked on Sunday morning: 66%. Without logging any activities. This is definitely not…
They finally solved it on fenix 7 with the latest beta, let's hope that even the forerunner group, always one step behind, will provide us with a new SW as soon as possible
The software is definitely the cause. I'm just wondering why Garmin doesn't fix the problem with another update. Is anyone from Garmin even reading this? I also have the problem with version 20…
Noted in other threads. Recommend restarting watch after activity as there is believed to be a bug where Incident Detection continues running after an activity ends. Also turn off Garmin Share if not already disabled. The restart seems to work best for me.
No clue about a fix planned but I would assume yes as we've seen this addressed in the Fenix 7, I beileve.
Same thing for me. Went out for a run last night with almost a fully charged watch and woke up today with only 8% left. Charged to 44% before work, and a few hours later it was down to 17%.
Usually the fully charged battery lasts 7-10 days for me.
Just restarted the watch to see if it helps.
v20.32
The restart seemed to work. Thanks.
This was fixed in 20.29 already, so unless it's been reintroduced (ok, to be fair... not impossible with Garmin) that isn't it.
A restart after a firmware update is a good idea in general, I noticed more often that battery goes down faster after a firmware update in general so perhaps it was simply that.
20.32 battery drain about 10/12% for a day!!!
Interesting I'm on 20.32, thought I had issues, Uninstalled all IQ watch faces and widgets, and set my sleep power mode to turn off Bluetooth. I'm currently on 56% since 10/10 and it is 10/19. About 4 hours of GPS usage since last charge. Try using only stock faces and widgets, remove any battery monitors and third party faces, those make a pretty significant impact in my testing
Widgets (should) only use battery when active though, unless it makes use of some background service... I also only have my own made battery widget which doesn't have a background process.
And yeah, custom faces CAN make a big difference but again, I also have my own watchface which was always very efficient and even with that one I get about 0.5-0.6%/hr.
But guess I can at least try a stock face, if only they weren't as ugly...
I DO use phone connectivity nowadays so guess that could be the big difference, it was always about 0.2%/hr max but sure don't hope connectivity more then doubles battery usage.
And the fact the watch is almost 2.5 years old now prolly also impacts battery a bit... Still, the reports seem to indicate something more is the matter.
I always use the Quatro watchface. I notice that the watch drains a bit more when the battery percentage is below...about 40%.
I looked it just before 23h last night, it was at 25%, this morning at 8 it was at 20%, 19% hour later)...so about 5-6%. When the percentage is higher it loses about 3-4% per night. BTW at 23h till the morning sleep watchface activates and only the time is shown.
I will try with default watchface, but I hate battery life on this one...I mean it is not an Apple watch, but it is nowhere near 15/20 days. So...if it looses 3% per night it will loose about 6-8% more for the rest of a day. If it looses those 5%...I guess it will be at/or near 10% charge today before the sleep...WITH EVERYTHING OFF/DISABLED and NO ACTIVITIES recorded.
I really don't know if my has lousy battery or if it is general issue. + I care about battery and charge (almost always) it between 20 and 80%...so I almost charge it like an Apple watch users:) The watch was replaced, it is 1.5 year old now...the replacement looked new. During the first year, older firmwares, before v19 certainly it was losing about 6.5 - 7% per whole day with the same watchface, again today 5% during the sleep.
It was fixed, but now it's re-introduced I have a feeling.
I charged my watch on Friday evening to 100%. When I checked on Sunday morning: 66%. Without logging any activities. This is definitely not a normal drain.
I think 20 days is unrealistic, 15 days is possible if you don't really use the watch. I'd say somewhere between 7 and 14 days depending on how much activities with GPS and things like constant (or nightly) O2 measurements you use.
I use a default (modified) Garmin watchface with 4 datafields and analog clock. Don't really record many activities with the watch, as I use my Garmin Edge for those. The 955 is more a smartwatch (notifications etc) and wellness (hrv, rhr, bodybattery etc) for me, and with that I usually get around 14 days between charges.
I do do a full powercycle after every FW update, and after every charge. Keeps the memory nice and clean, and those are the moments I have the least impact from it. The watch is now about 18 months old, and I don't really notice any difference in battery life so far here.
