FR 955 - No HR, sleep data, pulse ox, gesture backlight, and steps counting on firmware versions 20.29/20.31

Hello!

A few days ago, my FR 955 stopped working properly.

The watch doesn’t register sleep data, pulse ox, HR, or steps. Also, the gesture backlight stopped working.

It worked well for a while on firmware version 20.29. Then, one day, the watch tried to update a few times to ver. 20.31.

After that, it became useless.

Is it a software problem? Will it be repaired in the next update? I saw a lot of complaints on the forum after the latest updates.

Unfortunately, the watch is just a few days out of the 2-year warranty.

I am really upset and angry, also considering leaving Garmin for other brands.

The same situation. The update essentially bricked my forunner. It's an expensive lesson for me, I'll know better next time.

That's right, sleep data and HRV are the key points to the training status calculation. They stop working and make the watch just a monitor as I'm using stryd, it can provide power, gps and other informations I need.

Wahrscheinlich nicht, da es Garmin gelinde gesagt scheiß egal ist. Die Forerunner 965 hat mittlerweile soviele Probleme das sie nur noch für den Müll was taugt.

Wer behauptet das die Forerunner 965 die beste Laufuhr ist der behauptet etwas falsches. Im Gegenteil es ist schon fast gefährlich die Uhr für sein Lauftraining zu benutzen.

Einfach ein wenig im nternet schauen, es ist voll davon.... Und Garmin hört es nicht.

Es gibt praktisch kein Garmin Gerät was funktioniert. Das eintige was funktioniert ist seine Zeit damit zu vergeuden anstatt Sport zu betreiben oder Laufen zu gehen.
