Nothing to do with the new firmware, happened on previous versions. Mine disappeared again, previously sending races from the connect website to my device, syncing watch (they don't appear) switch off watch and they appear, but you have to sync all races otherwise the races which are actually on your watch disappear.
So, go to race and events on your connect website page, send all races (not just the missing ones) to your device, sync your watch, then power off and on and they all should be there.
It's annoying when you don't cop your primary race is missing and your DSW are for a future race, as happened to me this morning, my long run seemed to be too long seeing as I have a race next weekend, turned out my DSW runs were for a race 6 weeks away.
OK, bit of an update. Put my watch on charge this morning and I normally use this as a chance to restart my watch, I power off, put on charge and plug in, watch restarts and charges. Anyway, primary race missing again, so it looks like either rebooting or charging your watch makes the primary race disappear (I'm surmising). Did as I said above, but after syncing my primary race was now back (it didn't before), but one race was cloned, so appeared twice. Powering the watch off and on, deleted the duplicate race and my race calendar is correct (for now).
Listened to an audio book on my run today, no audio alerts but that was because my watch and phone never connected for some reason. I had to open my connect app and then they connected. Strange how my phone was on my arm for 46 mins of a run but they never connected
I'll try again tomorrow, after I make sure the watch and phone are connected.
