Step Counter

Not sure what's going on but my 955 has been reporting wild step counting numbers. For example after my run today my watch reported around 10,000 steps which is about right and consistent with normal reporting. However over the last week or so while driving the watch has been adding/reporting 3,000 to 6,000 extra steps added to the 10,000 that was accurately reported!? In other words the watch is registering thousands of steps while seated and not moving my wrist. Anyone else have a similar issue? I was also thinking maybe the next firmware update would settle things down but I'm not sure when it'll be released.

Thanks but not applicable. The good news is it hasn't happened since the latest firmware release.

So my watch is back to counting thousands of extra steps that I did not walk. The correct amount of steps (per the Garmin Connect app graph) is 11,996 steps, but my watch is showing 16,174 steps. Now the weird thing is Garmin Connect also shows 16,174 in the app but the graph does not match and correctly shoes 11,996 steps. Anyone else having this issue with the FR955? I tried to attach a photograph here but for some reason it's not uploading.
