Golf auto shot not working/never worked

Hi,

I've had this watch a while now and the auto shot on Garmin golf never tracks. My watch is up to date so any previous software update should have fixed this but it hasn't. It's very frustrating.

    It works on and off. But it has been a while since it worked last.  It's super annoying that it is so intermittent. I opened a bug for it as well.

    Mine works for about 1 shot every 3 rounds. Did you get anywhere with your Bug?

    AutoShot issues were addressed on this series a while back with the release of version 15.19 per the changelog referenceable here: Forerunner 955 Series Software Version 15.19 

    In general, the following should be considered if you are experiencing concerns with the AutoShot feature as outlined below: 

    • Ensure you are wearing the watch on your lead wrist while golfing (left wrist if using right-handed clubs...or right wrist if using left-handed clubs). On your watch in Settings > User Profile > Wrist > The lead wrist the watch is being worn on should be set correctly in this menu as well. 
    • On your watch, open the Activity menu > Select Golf > Golf Settings > Ensure "Scoring" is enabled > I also recommend enabling "Club Prompt" so you receive immediate more obvious feedback after taking a shot, as the watch will prompt your list of clubs to select and assign the shot that was detected during the round to assign the shot to a specific club.
