Race predictor gone from the watch ?

Hi,

I'm on latest beta (20.21) but I believe that it's been gone for a while.

In the past, I was able to see the race predictor on the watch itself but I cannot display it anymore. Not sure if it's been moved to a different menu/submenu but it's nowhere to be seen.

I still do have the data in Garmin Connect.

Watch language is setup in French ... not sure if it does matter.

Thanks in advance.

  • The race predictor should be available by opening (tapping / pressing START) the Performance glance (which shows VO2 Max and a race prediction for a single distance on the glance itself.) Once you open that glance, you should be able to scroll down to a page which shows the current race prediction and a 4-week chart for each distance (press START or swipe left to cycle through distances.)

Note that it's not available via the Training Status glance, which can be confusing since opening that glance does show VO2 (but not race predictions).

  • I can see my 5k,10k, half and marathon prediction times as part of the performance glance (the last pages). I am on beta 20.21 but I’m positive they were still there with the standard release software.

  • Press start, hold up, add glance then select performance. That fixed it on my forerunner 265.  I had same problem may have removed it by mistake. I figured out this solution myself and thought I’d share.

  • Cold wheather and again WRONG WRONG WRONG HR values from Garmin Forerunner 955. I had same run today and variation between Downhills and Uphills in just 3-4bpm compared to over 10bpm of warmer climate or previous FW release....of course all datas gets affected like training status, Vo2Max etc....
