I have a mountain bike race planned for September and have been following the DSW on my Forerunner 955. I have the race entered as Mountain Biking event type and it is a 38 mile 4200 ft climbing. I am curious what others experiences have been with DSW when training for MTB races because I have just been getting a lot of base workouts and I'm not sure if that is the best. It seems more like a road cycling plan but this is the first time I've followed a plan for a race so I didn't know if this is normal for a mountain bike race plan too.
