19.18 - stop button does not function when an alert is on screen while navigating a course

I have noted this bug here on a few occasions over the lifetime of the FR955's firmware. It should have been resolved last summer as a fix was included in beta 16.12, as mentioned here by Garmin-Sierra:

However, as of the current production firmware (19.18), it still exists.

Please could this be looked into and finally fixed in production?
