Your post 'Do Course in Reverse' has been flagged as spam or abuse.

Hi there,

I have tried to post here template which could be used to notify Garmin about New (well not that new) Idea, but my post Your post 'Do Course in Reverse' has been flagged as spam or abuse.

I guess it was due to several links to this Forum describing problem.

It is very interesting approach. Ask users to provide feedback but when you try to share it with Community with links to this Forum it is flagged as spam.

  • I can see it now.

And I think the flagging is really done by forum users, not automatically, at least I never experienced that (but experienced forum users flagging my post, because they did not like its message).

  • It has to be system.

I have that message immediately when I hit Post button. It was not possible to be read by human.

  • Not only that, but if you make a post that contains links (even a link to these forums or a garmin site), then there’s a good chance it may not immediately be publicly available (as it awaits moderation), even if you can see it while you’re logged in. (i.e. if you open garmin forums in another browser or a private browsing tab without logging in, you won’t see the post right away.)

Ofc I would never suggest maliciously circumventing any moderation system, but there’s a chance you can avoid either of these scenarios by initially posting without links, then editing your post to add links.

  • This is exactly what might have happend to me.

My second post do not have pefix to https forums garmin com and was posted.

  • Yeah except in my experience I’m not even given a notification/warning/error message, the post is just silently hidden from everyone else (for a little while).

Also, your post does have quite a number of links (much more than are typically posted at once), so I kinda get it. What I’m describing (a post being silently hidden for a while) sometimes, but not always, happens to me with one or two links.
