Forerunner 955 Freezes Constantly - Doesn't Hold Charge

For a watch that cost $600+ dollars, and only after like 15-months this is absolutely ridiculous. 

It all started back in January 2024, up until that point I absolutely LOVED the Forerunner 955 - then it started just freezing, at first occasionally then by like March it would only go maybe 2-3 hours and FREEZE. 

At first I could return it to life was to do the 3-button salute on the watch and then get the reboot.

Then late March early April that no longer worked, and only way I could get watch to come back to life was PLUG IT IN, then do the 3-button salute, THEN it would boot up, and work for 2-3 hours and freeze. 

Also, battery life was amazing until all this started, even on the days where I get 2-3hours of use it would go from 100% -> 60% in 3hours - that is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. 

I work in IT all day so I am fully aware of the other threads, and I continued to hobble along thinking with each PATCH it would get fixed, NOPE, this watch is completely a piece of garbage now. 

I mean this is absolutely unacceptable to expect people to pay 600+ dollars for a watch only to have it completely crap out after getting software patches and continue to degrade with each ensuing patch/update. 

Does ANYONE know what kind of recourse I have? I bought it at REI and it's now nearly 1.5 years+ since I bought it so I can't return/exchange. 

That watch was my life every day, as an avid fitness, hiker, backpacking type, lifter, rower, etc., to go from stats EVERY DAY to NOTHING is complete BS. 

Basically I had a fully functioning Forerunner 955 for 15-months and that was it.
