I have a race on Saturday this week. June 22nd, but Garmin is saying it is on Friday. Even though the event shows up on Saturday on my calendar. Anyone else have this issue. Is Garmin confused with some leap year thing?

I'm in central Time zone. All my settings are correct on Garmin connect. I even tried removing the event, syncing my watch and re-adding the event. It syncs showing the proper date as the 22nd for the race. But then it shows the race as coming up in 3 days. Today is the 18th, so it will think the race is on Friday the 21st. The same thing happened to me with a supporting race last month. Not the end of the world mind you, but just something that annoys me. I really think leap year has confused something here on the watch or the garmin connect app.
I can't set that. I just selected Grandma's and it would put it on the 22nd automatically for me. I can try just setting it manually and see what happens. The official one looks correct though.
