No beep sound

I've bought the garmin 955 solar for 4 months,and find there's no beep sound in any notification or activities recently,is it a software problem or hardware problem?

Did you check if the alerts and sounds settings are OK and if there is no Do Not Disturb mode activated?

Does it beep when you press buttons?

there's no any sound,the same when I turn on metronome or press the start stop button when running

Yes, plus it's almost new you'd better take it to Support/Warranty. Many users here report that they solved their problems after doing a Soft Reset. You can try it before moving forward.

I am pretty sure I found the answer to this as I also had the same issue. If you go to settings and all the way down to system - sound and vibration - notification during activity (or something along these lines, I am translating from norwegian) , make sure to activate this setting and see if it helps?
