No Training Status, HRV Status and values Garmin Connect

Hi, does 3 or 4 weeks without training get you off to a fresh start on Training Status or is it a glitch in my watch/Connect?
As I commented in another thread, due to an injury, I was out of training for 3+ weeks or so. This turns out my HRV Status stopped recording for a few days near the end of my recovery and then started detailing HRV Status again with blue dots but always showing in Training Status = NO STATUS  until today.

I understand that such a short time without training does not leave me as “out” as Garmin suggests.
I already performed a Soft Reset and the information remains the same.
I stopped my training around 29Apr and re-start on 19May. Graphic attached.

Is this a normal behavior? or is there an error in Garmin Connect with the data?

Thanks!

  • Hi, checking more in detail during the weekend I saw that when this cut occurs was on May 13, as the graph already showed. Looking at the listing of the different days I see that on May 13 there is no information saved nor for the average. The strange thing is that if I enter that day the information is there and it is complete. Is there a problem with Connect? Thank in advance,

  • I' still analyzing this problem and I still don't understand the root cause although I think I understand that the problem is in the Garmin / Garmin Connect servers. Garmin Support did not give me an answer either. They just told me that they were aware of it and that's it. This was almost 3 months ago now.

From the attached graphs the watch did everything right way and that for some reason Garmin Connect did not process the information, as it was correctly recorded ruining the HRV status until as can understand until now.

Also my HRV range was 35-50 before and after the problem moved to around 25-35 (grey area). Now, in the last 4 days, I see that my HRV overnight averages are around 45, with a baseline 24-32, that is a lot out of the max. These value are more similar to the values before of the problem. Also reading about other reports about HRV: exist some big problem with the HRV? Are this data reliable? Because until now can't understand what cause my problem on May and for what my HRV baseline changed dramatically on these days, with NO STATUS, and now again is close to the April range.

    Any idea ?
    Thanks a lot!
