[Fixed] Up Ahead Feature screen not showing in RUN activity

It's a matter that has been persisting for previous Firmwares and Garmin doesn't say anything.

When choosing RUN activity and loading a pre edited map on Garmin Connect with course points the map takes a long time to load and once loaded, the Up Ahead screen is not shown.
Plus, in 19.18 version when in map screen (RUN activity) if you press UP/DOWN buttons the screen locks for seconds until it goes UP or DOWN.

However, when using any other activity Up Ahead screen loads immediately.
I really need this feature working in RUN activity without using other ways or different resources.
It has to work directly in RUN activity.

Garmin-Sierra could you kindly help us on this matter, please?

That link is not updated. It is now available for 955. As I said, it's bugged to work in Run activity, however works perfect when on other activities.

Yes, it would make sense that it be included on a Triathlon watch! There is also a setting for it within navigation settings.

Shame so many little bugs are ignored by Garmin.

I was curious to learn about Up Ahead after reading your post. Apparently it’s only available on select models, 965 and 955 are not included.

That link is not updated. It is now available for 955. As I said, it's bugged to work in Run activity, however works perfect when on other activities.

I apologize for any inconvenience.
I just found out what is going on. It's not actually a bug, but a pre set up in routing in Run activity.
When I go through Activities & Apps and choose Run (activity) > Routing > Courses, the pre set option was "Use Map".
Comparing to other activities where Up Ahead is working the pre set option is "Follow Course".
Well, I just set to the same option "Follow Course" and Up Ahead in Run activity is working.
I attached some pics to illustrate a little better what I did.
