I manually checked for updates in the official channel by using the check for updates button and updated to 19.17. On this firmware I seemed to have no issues.
About an hour later, the watch prompted me to update to 19.18, and I did. This started issues. The watch’s heart rate sensor does not turn on at all. The steps are tracking from the day before and are also not tracking. If I try to check for updates, it tells me the battery is too low despite being at 100%.
this makes like 60% of the watches features obsolete and I’d hope to fix it.
Ive taken the following troubleshooting steps: checking health and fitness tracking, checking if HR is turned on. Restarting tens of times and even resetting to default settings. Never had firmware issues before, and this one pretty much makes no point to wear the watch over using the Strava app.
