Wind speed data often missing

I’ve found that wind speed weather data is often missing following the last few beta updates and latest 19.18 version. The issue only seems to affect the weather summary page, hourly forecast always includes the wind speed data.

It spontaneously appears at times but more often than not it is missing. I suspect the issue has occurred following various attempted weather app fixes.

    I've not had this issue occur again since posting, I wonder if weather services have been updated in the background.

    At least near where I live, it's simply that all weather stations used by Garmin do not provide wind speed. So whether you get it or not depends on what station is determined to be nearest to you.

    Makes sense, but it was never an issue locally before v19.09 and it only ever affected the main day weather screen. Wind speed was always present in the hourly forecast regardless.

    It’s been fine and consistent since yesterday now without issue. Perhaps it was an issue at source or api/mapping that’s been fixed in the background, who knows!

    At least the wind speed values now looks to be in the same unit on the different pages.

    But what unit is used? I start to suspect it's in knots, and not m/s as would be preferred for my swedish settings...?

    I’m pretty sure mines is mph as it seems to match the weather station data. Could it be linked to user setting?
