Weather radar is useless

Hi guys,

Maybe I'm missing something, but when I open weather glance/widget and switch to radar all I can see is the past, which doesn't make any sense to me, as we could see how the weather was like already.

It would be more useful to show the raining predictions few hours ahead.

Obviously, and when it starts it shows the weather from few hours from the past, which doesn't make any sense to me. Does it show you the future predictions when you press start button?

Yes.

Default to 3-hour intervals.

9 am / 12 pm / 3 pm / 6 pm / 9 pm.

Mine is set to display time in 24Hr, so I am sure it shows future times.

Interesting. In my case it looks like that:

Current time is 15:00. When I press play. The radar starts with 13:35, then moves to 13:50, then 14:05, followed by 14:20, 14:35 and finishes at 14:50

I appear to be the same.15 min intervals over the previous hour. Current 17:35 - shows 16:05, 16:20, 16:35, 16:50, 17:05 and 17:20.

Goes to show how much we actually check these useless gimmicks!

What is your smartphone OS? Maybe it's related to some configuration.

I'm on iOS and Garmin Connect is allowed to use anything it needs.

IOS, full permissions and weather always refreshes. I’m on beta 19.13 which could be the issue?

I’m on beta 19.13 as well.

I searched for any configuration regarding this widget but couldn’t find it.
