Forerunner 955 Body Battery questions

We have had two 955s for over two years - I wear mine 98 percent of the time (except for charging). My wife wears her 955 about 60% of the time.

My wife’s watch displays her Body Battery statistics in connect.garmin.com on her iPad and in the Garmin Connect app on her phone.

My body battery stats have never been displayed.  I get a message “Not enough data”.

Have I turned something off that is keeping the Body Battery stats from being collected by the 955 and displayed by the apps?  Suggestions?

Thanks.

  • HI, I wear mine also all the time except shower/charging. I have no issue with body battery. Does it manage to record sleep, HRV and activities? If so, body battery should be there. What happens if you log into the web based Connect? Same notification?

  • Here’s what the metric looks like at connect.garmin.com.

  • My watch does collect sleep, HVR, and activities.  I’m stumped.

  • Try resetting the Garmin app Home screen. Scroll to bottom to ‘edit home’ then to bottom again to ‘reset home’.

Otherwise, I’m pretty sure that removing and repairing the watch to the app will work.

  • Thank you for your input.  I reset the Home Screen, then removed the device from the app and re-pair’ed it.  This is the screen I get now.

This is a big improvement! I’ll give it a couple of days and report back - it doesn’t appear any of the previous days ‘body battery’ graphics is available but I’ll be happy if it all works well going forward.

    Thanks again!

  • I’d definitely expect all data to become available in the app as it should all sync and transfer from the watch!

It may take a few syncs, try forcing them. Also try closing and reopening the app a few times. This new app has been causing a lot of issues!

  • Thanks for your help.  After many days with lots of re-syncing, the history did not materialize but the new daily stats are there.

    I can live with that.
