Choosing “Threadmill” or “Track Run” is quite straightforward what the difference is between those running activities, but I can’t seem to figure out between Run and Pace Run. This might be a very basic or obvious question but would love the help.

I noticed the capitalization of "Pace run" is different than all the other built-in activities which have more than one word in them. Every other activity has each word capitalized (e.g. "Ultra Run"),…
Thanks for the suggestions. I checked both options.
I went for a run choosing that activity and in Connect it showed only as running, not any other detail. Then I deleted the activity profile from my watch…
What language is your 955 set to? Is it literally "pace run" or is that translated from another language?
I have the following built-in running-related activities on my 955:
- Run
- Track Run
- Treadmill
- Virtual Run
- Trail Run
- Ultra Run
- Triathlon
- Swimrun
My 955 is set to English.
It’s literally “pace run”.
The rest of the running activities are: run, threadmill, track run, virtual run, indoor track, trail run, ultra run, triathlon, swimrun.

Is it possible that you or someone else created the "Pace run" activity profile manually? I don't think "Pace run" is a built-in activity.
You can test this theory by deleting it (copy it first if you care about it) and seeing if it's subsequently available when you create a new activity profile. If it's still available, I think that means it's a built in activity. If it's no longer available, then it was a manually created activity profile.
Another to test this is to start a Pace run activity and save it. If it's a native activity, then the activity type in Connect should be the same (or similar) to the profile name. (Look on the Connect website, not the app, bc it has more detailed information about the activity type).
e.g.
e.g. Track Running, Trail Running, Ultra Running, and Virtual Running are all activity (sub)types in Connect. Ofc there's no "Pace running" type.

I went for a run choosing that activity and in Connect it showed only as running, not any other detail. Then I deleted the activity profile from my watch and it was not available when creating new activities, so it’s not a built-in activity. So I guess that confirms it.
I don’t remember ever creating that activity profile but is good to know that was it.
thanks a lot for the suggestions and help!!
