Description of Lactate Threshold in Garmin Connect

In garmin connect it shows like this, the question is in the second paragraph, shouldn't improvement of LT be for the pace to go up, not down? I.e. sustain higher heart rate, higher output power, higher pace for a period of time?

  • Pace should go down, because the improvement means you became faster, at the same LT. If the parameter would be speed should be increase.

    In my case LT Is approximatly the same along the years but the pace go down if I'm in a good shape, in a specific time.
