Hi all,
Just did this long run with mainly Z2 HR and then some low Z3 stuff. The watch has earlier given this as either base or tempo training, but now VO2? I know earlier FW been pretty messed up on this before, time again?

Your Max heart rate is off. Your second screenshot shows it is set at 166 bpm, which is the top of your Zone 3 in your first screenshot.
166 bpm was reached in this activity, not more.
Zhientex - check if your max HR is OK and make a zone reset for a run sport, it will correct your zones.
I disagree. The max HR shown above is the maximum reached in that session. So nothing to do with the calculations. But TS should check the HRMax settings in Garmon Connect, because that one is probably false.
Oops, you are right. 166bpm is the max for the activty.
Nonetheless, most likely, the problem is from the Max HR value.
Correcting the zones will not affect the estimation of the Training Effect.
Thanks for the reply’s.
zones should be good pior to this run, see attached screenshot.
Your z4 goes to 177 up, but your LTHR is 171bpm. Is it not so, that z4 is <99%LTHR and z5>100%, say 171 and up?
My LTHR depends on my current training condition and the zones distribution is not always such precise. If i do a zones reset for my current condition it will be corrected. I've had a z5 set to a 108% of %LTHR - it was not funny It looks like Garmin does not adjust zones after auto-detecting new values.
