Sleep tracking is way of

The sleep tracking On my 955 is way of and has been since around early january.

The watch records 2-4hours of sleep every night usualy with large periods of awake time in The middle of the night.

My actual sleep is around 7 hours.

Some nights it does not record sleep at all, some nights it is close to the real number. In desember the sleep tracking was allright.

  • No issues with sleep tracking for me either.

  • Yep, something changed for me as well.  While not perfect, I used to think it tracked my sleep OK.  Sometime within the last few months, for me I think it got a little worse.  Sometimes when I get up at night to let the dogs out, or go to bathroom, it will start my sleep time once I go back to sleep, and simply forget I was sleeping prior to getting up...then skews everything with wrong sleep calculations.  I simply ignore it mostly, knowing this.

  • i have a significant issue where the watch decides i've started sleep 1-2 hours before i actually do, just because i'm relaxing before bed. it will actually show most of that time as awake still, so my metrics say i've had a bad sleep because its including 2 hours when i wasn't asleep at all! i actually go to sleep later, at the time set as my bedtime and from then it seems reasonably accurate.

quite different behaviour to what you're seeing but i also suspect this has started early this year.

  • exactly the same here as of the OP

  • I have observed weaird tracking for few months, yesterday didn't event tracked any sleep despite slept for 6h 30 mins in usual sleep window. Also without taking nap during day sleep track as napping, whereas sometime actual sleep is not tracked. Also raised support ticket on same, got good support with my last issue and hoping same this time.

  • My tip: loosen the strap by one notch when you go to bed, then tighten it again in the morning. It seems that sleep tracking works best when the strap is very slightly looser before you lie down.
