Garmin 955 22mm 3d printed adapter

I spent the afternoon dialing in this 3d printed spacer to allow my 955 to work with the 22mm bike mount. The pins are just a tiny amount narrower than the Fenix and Epix.

3d print files available below. Enjoy!

  • Is it just the green part or you 3D printed the whole adapter?

  • Exactly, only the green part.
If you are looking for a complete adapter you could look at something like this that work very well: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2019890
There are several similar models. Just check that the model you choose has a space for the OHR not to rest or put some soft material on that support point. I don't know if the friction could cause damage, but just in case. Also put some biface tape or rubber tape at the time of mounting on the handlebars. In my experience these brackets tend to rotate on the handlebars no matter how tight they are.

  • I see why you use this but I would't trust this for bumpier rides. PLA and ABS deteriate under UV. For example I had a clamp holding a Google Home Mini. It widended just because of some sunlight that shied on it for a few months. Also, an Edge 530 used to be availible for 120€

  • It could be possible, but I have been using several of these brackets for over two years for both Road, Gravel and also MTB for over 2 years printed on PETG without any problems so far. Yes, for the cost I could reprint them and rest easy for at least 2 more years but they still have no sign of fatigue. Worst case scenario, if it breaks, the watch will stay attached to the handlebars (on the link similar models, not this), I'll brake, put it on my wrist and when I get home I'll print another one. In fact I don't like to wear a watch on my wrist when I ride my bike either, that's the main reason why I looked for such a holder.

  • Yes it's just the green part. The 955 pin spacing is barely smaller. It's very solid now. I'll reprint it in ASA later but green PLA was what I had loaded. The watch is captive without the green clip it just adds the proper tension to hold the pins securely
