Heart rate measurement lags ? (strap)

Hi,

I'm treating this as part of the heart rate sensor/measurement problems that is reported in many threads on the forum. But by no means was it started separately whereas this is an important issue.

Forerunner 955
External Polar H10 sensor (works fine checked with other devices)
Connected via BT
Battery in the sensor NEW
Watch fitted to the hand
Warm up done xD

temperature around 15 degrees celcius
The problem occurs not always but it seems to me that since version 18.22

As you can see from the
33:20 pace (in red) is practically maintained more or less the same as before the intervals. After which the heart rate (in blue) strangely drops to spike hard right after. When I switch to walking again after a while it peaks down after which the heart rate increases again unnaturally during walking (xD) And the situation repeats itself until I finish the workout with flistration.... Please research. Other users to report their problems.

Looking at the watch screen, it looks like the measurement is just hanging up.

  • I checked again while running. The watch blocks the heart rate and unblocks it after some time, and this happens all the time after running several hundred meters. I checked the connection and when the first problem appeared, I disconnected the BT sensor and connected it via ANT+, it was better for a while, but the situation repeated itself. Eventually I switched to an optical sensor and it looked OK.

Everything is definitely OK with the belt.

I am attaching a chart for analysis.
  • just to be sure, you moisturized the skin under  the straps contact points? I do not really think that is the issue, but I better ask Wink
