This night had a battery drain from 89 to 9 % SOC. Never had problems before with battery drain. I updated from 18.22 to 18.23 2 days ago.
I do a soft reset after every SW-update.

Yes, I did the same, and now my watch is unusable as it drains in less than 24 hours. I have switched everything off to save battery, but it's still draining. What's the point in spending loads of money…
Mine 14% in 24 hours, with one run of a half hour. No pulse ox , standard watchface. Only Stryd connected whilst running. Only one ciq datafield (Stryd)

There are certain circumstances which seem to leave a Bluetooth interaction incomplete or partially open which causes excessive battery consumption.
In my case it was editing some of the watch's settings using the Garmin Connect app.
For others it's the interaction with a Stryd device.
Usually a normal Power Off/Power On of the watch will fix it.
