Stopped syncing runs with Strava

Starting March 3rd my 955 / Connect app on phone stopped sending runs to Strava. I record rides with Zwift, those sync fine. I didn't change any settings before that, but apparently there was some kind of service outage -- everyone else at the event on 3 Mar that I talked to said their run activity wasn't uploading to Strava either.

I have tried removing and re-adding the Garmin social connection in Strava. It didn't work. The workaround now is going into my desktop Connect to export the .tcx then manually uploading an activity in Strava. This only works at home, unless there's some way to do it from my phone that I'm missing .... any suggested fix?

    There was a permission step in the Strava desktop app that I'd somehow missed, and didn't see on my phone when I disconnected and reconnected Garmin. Did a test activity and it uploaded. Sorry, please delete this question!
