time to recovery is not the same in the watch and in the phone

Hello. I have a problem with time to recovery. The watch (software 18.23) shows 40h and the phone 52. I assume the watch doesn't register the fact that I was on the bike and used the edge 530. P.S. However, my watch shows cycling activity in history.

  • Physio TrueUp usually takes several synchronizations for all the values to be propagated everywhere. And that's quite logical: when you first sync your watch with your phone, Garmin's servers get the recovery values from your watch. Similarly for the Edge. After those two syncs, the servers combine the recovery values. Then it still takes one more sync with the watch to transfer that updated value back to the watch. And if you don't do activities, the time between those syncs can be several hours.

  • Thank you, I understand that. The problem is, however, that my demanding cycling caused a 12-hour reduction in regeneration hours. Correctly, the regeneration should be 30 hours longer

  • The problem is that Connect App is showing just the each day situation, whilst is missing the tabe related to current situation (to be aligned with the device)

  • Connect App shows only each day situation (related to wake up time) of recovery time and it's missing a specific tab for current situation

  • As you anticipated, that was the problem. Today morning everything matched perfectly. Thank you.
