Hello, since version 18.22 (or 18.21), my endurance score no longer increases during one-hour training sessions. Before it increased from 20 to 40 per session. Looks like it's stuck at the same value since 18.22. I do not understand why. THANKS.

Exactly what the endurance score is supposed to represent is a mystery. Even the people that wrote Garmin's user manual don't seem to know what it means. All they say is that "your endurance score helps you understand your overall endurance based on all recorded activities with heart rate data", and, umm, that's about it. As far as I can tell it's a gimmick that was dreamt up by Garmin's marketing people in the hopes of selling more watches.
All I see in that article are a lot of vague generalities. What would be much more useful is if Garmin/FirstBeat put out a white paper similar to the one they published for VO2max a few years ago, https://assets.firstbeat.com/firstbeat/uploads/2017/06/white_paper_VO2max_30.6.2017.pdf. In other words, something that gives you a reasonably good idea of how the metric is calculated, what inputs it uses, how it was validated, how you might use it in practice, and so on. They haven't done anything like that for "endurance".
totally agree. Same with hillscore.
