First of all, I have SW 18.22 beta on my FR955
Weather glance still do not work as expected. We are not able to search and add locations farther away than about 200 kms
Few observations.
Garmin as Market leader in Aviation equipment is using weather data from the Airport stations. I like this.
For some unknown reasons adding locations is currently limited to about 200 km radius from your GPS position.
But if you visit some other place (I was in Amsterdam last Monday) you can add this to your watch and it will stay there and what is more important it will keep updating with weather from Schiphol.
And here is last thing.
For some reason I am not longer able to add new bug reports. There is no option to comment or vote how important it is to community.
Seems like we will have to wait for solution until next Beta cycle or longer.
I can imagine that small watch has limitation to search global database of city / town names. But having this setup on the phone or web should be good option.
